Orders

How do I place an order?

You’ve already taken the first step – you’re here on the site! Next, you wanna go find some product you like. You can browse by feathers fans type OR feathers boa (i.e. beginners, advanced and professional customers can choose single layer, double layer, triple layer, etc..), by collection, or just see where your style instincts lead you. Once you’ve found something , click on the product, select your need and add it to your cart. From there, it’s just a matter of opening your cart and following the super easy checkout process. Bam, you now own some HOT-FANS product!

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yep! You can expect to receive an order confirmation email from us once you’ve successfully nommed all your goodies. If it seems to be taking a while, make sure you check your junk/spam folders too.If you do not receive an email or are unable to find your order information online,Or If anything isn’t right, send us an email at info@feathersfans.com ,ASAP so we can help you get it sorted.

What does the 'processing' order status mean?

If you see the status ‘processing’ next to an order in your account, it means that Your order is in make process have your order and are working hard to ship it to you as soon as possible. Yay!

Remember: Some orders take some time to make your entire order will be delayed until those products are ready to be shipped. You can always check the product descriptions on our website,If there are special circumstances that cause delays, we will notify you promptly.

Can I cancel or change my order?

We do recommend doing everything you can to ensure all details are correct at the time of ordering, but if you email info@feathersfans.com within 12 hour of placing your order and let our Customer Experience Wizards know your order number and the changes you’d like to make, they will do their best to make it happen.

Orders placed within the last 12hours can request a cancellation. After the 24 hour period cancellations will no longer be accepted.
But you can still contact us to discuss whether you can change or cancel the order. If your order is still not scheduled to be made, we can cancel or change your order.

Can I add in an extra item after my order has been placed?

Yes! You can place an extra order on our website and the items will be shipped with your original order. Or you can contact our customer service at info@feathersfans.com and we will help you with how to proceed.

I have a promotion code what do I do?

Sign In to the feathersfans.com with your username and password.
Select items to purchase, and add them to your shopping cart.
Enter the promo code in the PROMOTION CODE field.
Click Apply.

I want to buy in bulk, can I get a discount?

Yes, we do offer a discount on wholsale orders and you can find many products on our website. Also the discount is based on the quantity of order. Can I change my shipping address after my order is placed?

Our Service team can update shipping addresses on orders that have not yet shipped. In this case please send us an email letting us know the order number and the new address so we can make the change for you.

Please note that this change will not reflect on the website or the invoice, but it's the address our carrier will deliver your order to.

We cannot change the country your order will ship to once your order has been placed. To guard against online fraud, we require that the country of your shipping address matches the country of your billing address.

For future orders you can also change the address in your Account settings. To get there:

Log in to your account
Click on your account image at the top right corner of the screen
Choose "Settings" when the menu appears
Click "Addresses" in the menu bar at the top of the screen

How long will my order take to arrive

Handling time: We try to ship items within 2 to 4 days of receiving payment. If shipping time is critical, please let us know before ordering.

I need my order to arrive at a specific time, can you help?

Yes, please contact us before placing your order, we will arrange a production time and express delivery for you. We did have the option to select this service before checkout.

Are there any additional costs, As VAT / Customs , associated with international orders?

Please note that with international shipping, it is the customers responsibility to understand your country’s taxes, duties, fees or otherwise when it comes to a package / order being delivered to you.
These customs fees aren't actually coming from us at feathersfans.com – they're set by your local government and are separate from the cost of shipping.

For all international orders .certain duty fees or customs fees may be required upon delivery of your order. Please understand that we have no control over any duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other such customs fees, and cannot be held liable for any such fees, no matter what the situation may be.

Unfortunately if you do not pay the custom fees owing on your parcel it may be Returned To Sender (RTS) and we may be charged an RTS fee. Depending on the shipping method, we may deduct these fees from any reimbursement we're able to provide.

This can often cost more than the original order value. We do not recommend refusing any International Express parcels, as it is often very costly for the customer.

We understand that it is a sticky situation, but unfortunately customs charges are out of our control. We do our best to make everyone aware before nomming.

I haven’t received my package.

If you haven't received your package, the first step is to track it using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email. If its still in transit, hold tight and you should get it soon.

But if you don't have a tracking number, maybe the order hasn't been shipped yet. Please contact our customer service immediately

Will my parcel be tracked?

Yep! No matter what shipping option you go for you will receive a tracking number in your shipping confirmation email so you can stalk your new gear all the way to your front door!

My tracking says 'delivered' but I haven't received my order?

First things first, don’t panic! We can suggest a few simple places to check:

Check your mailbox (we know, but sometimes people are so excited they forget to check the most obvious places!).
Check around the property (near the mailbox, around the front door, near the garage) in case the parcel has been left in a peculiar place.
Check in with any housemates, neighbours or reception desk (if applicable) in case someone collected your parcel for safe keeping.
If you’ve checked all of those places and you’re still not able to locate your shiny parcel, please email our team at info@feathersfans.com and we will do our best to help!

What is your return policy?

We want you to have a great shopping experience with us so in case you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we have made returning products QUICK and EASY!
We are responsible for item damage before your receipt. Please contact us within 5 days ofreceipt, and take picture on the damaged item.
if you are unhappy with your purchase,please contact us within 7 days lf rsceipt and let us know why.
As long as your item is still in brand new condition,we will be happy to refund your money,or you may ask for item exchange.
We will issue a refund within 7 days after we receive the return package.or exchange will be given.
If we made the error in your order we will refund the shipping as well, otherwise return shipping is your responsibility.

You do not have the colour I want, can I purchase a custom colour?

Yes, if you would like a custom colour we can help! The color can be selected from the RAL color list. https://www.ralcolor.com/ Or provide a picture of the color, we will try to make the color close, but we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.Please email info@feathersfans.com. We usually have a minimum order for custom colours.

Are your feathers cruelty free?

Most of our feathers are we artisans source feathers from reputable suppliers who obtain feathers ethically and sustainably. These suppliers may collect feathers from birds that have naturally molted or from birds raised in humane conditions. like the hen, turkey, pheasant, rooster and ostrich, goose and duck. These feathers are collected and used by crafters and designers which would otherwise be discarded.

Peacock, ostrich, macaw and other exotic feathers are naturally molted and collected. So no birds are harm exclusively for their feathers.

Where are you feathers dyed?

We have our own dyeing factory This enables us to provide high quality dyed feathers to order and also a colour matching service.
Is there an additional charge for our colour matching service?
There is normally no additional charge for our colour matching service, we simply require a minimum order quantity which will depend on the particular feather you need dyeing. We can dye smaller quantities of feathers, but we may have to add a small batch dyeing charge. Please phone or email to discuss your requirements.
